Welcome
Welcome to The David Lewis Centre
The David Lewis Centre is the largest UK provider of a range of medical, educational, residential and assessment services for people with complex epilepsy and other neurological conditions, including learning disability and challenging behaviour.
Residents can access the The David Lewis Residential Special School for pupils between the ages 7-19, The David Lewis Specialist Residential College for students between the ages of 16-25 and Day Services/Adult Continuing Education (aged 16 upwards) whilst benefiting from the expert care of multidisciplinary teams and a wide range of residential services.
Epilepsy and behaviour assessment services, tailored to the needs of each individual, are provided for children and adults with acute and challenging behaviours. For children, these behaviours have an organic cause e.g. autism, epilepsy rather than an environmental cause.
Many residents require one to one support and the Centre operates for 52 weeks per year for all age groups. There is a limited number of places for non-residential service users and for respite care.
The David Lewis Centre offers services to people from all parts of the United Kingdom and abroad.
