Create your own fundraiser

Thank you so much for choosing to fundraise for us. We can’t wait to see how you get on!

Got an idea?

Shaved heads, karaoke, bake offs, birthday donations or tea parties… there’s so many things you can do to raise money for David Lewis.

Most events can now be hosted virtually too. We can help you to use the latest technology to make things easier, such as generating QR codes that go straight through to a donation page or helping you use donate buttons on sites like Zoom.

Please remember, we are on hand to support you every step of the way, or provide you with more advice if you are unsure of what you want to do!

Get started…

Set up an online page – this is a great way to tell your fundraising story and collect donations. You can set up a page with our payment partners, Enthuse, in a few quick easy steps. Simply click the ‘fundraise for us’ button at the top of our profile page. Or use an existing account, like Just Giving, that you may have.

Read about how we use your donations and how your fundraising helps to make daily life better at David Lewis.

We’d love to hear more about your fundraising plans, please do get in touch for inspiration, advice and materials!

Fundraising resources

We’ve put ideas, inspiration and more into a downloadable Fundraising Guide. You might also want to use our social media graphics, fundraising poster and sponsorship form.

“David Lewis really made me feel like my support was needed. I got some friends together and organised a sponsored walk. We had a great laugh, and I’m already planning what I can do next!”

David Lewis does not promote the lottery to children under the age of 18. David Lewis has implemented the following procedures to prevent children under the age of 18 years old taking part in the lottery:

  • The minimum age for play is detailed on our website
  • Children under the age of 18 are flagged on our database
  • Where possible we check our database to ensure persons are above the legal age limit before data is supplied for the use of a lottery.
