Leaving a legacy to David Lewis is not as complicated as you might think. You can do it when you first make a Will, or if you already have a Will, you can add a codicil very easily.
As a supporter of David Lewis we are offering a Free Will writing service, providing you with the opportunity to make a legally binding Will at no cost. This can be done online, in your own home, on the phone or with a solicitor in selected areas.

Over the years we’ve received legacy gifts from families who have used our services. One of these gifts, from the Potten family helped re-open our onsite café which had closed during Covid. The café provides a safe space for people to learn skills. It’s a much loved social hub.
The family spoke to us about the importance of leaving a legacy to a place that has meant so much to them.

What kind of gift can you give to David Lewis?
- You can leave a specific donation – This means you determine the precise sum that you want to give.
- You can leave a share of your estate – This is where you leave the remainder of your estate after your debts have been settled and any legacies you leave to other people have been paid. This helps us as it is not affected by inflation over time.
- You can leave a specific gift – Some people choose to leave an item, such as a piece of jewelry, a painting or a property.
