RMN Staff Nurse (Nights)

32.25 hours over two weeks

Salary Scale: £20,364 -£24,592 per annum (pro rota)

The Richard Miller Unit is an independent hospital registered with the Healthcare Commission. It provides care for adults with epilepsy and associated disorders that may include learning disability, mental health and behaviours which challenge service provision. The unit includes two dedicated assessment suites as well as a 10-bedded rehabilitation unit.

The successful candidate will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse who will be responsible for ensuring deliverance of a high standard of nursing and social care to the patients and the management of junior nursing and care staff. Reporting to the Clinical Lead this role will involve a commitment to working with a patient group who can display severe and challenging behaviours in addition to epilepsy, learning difficulties, mental health problems and physical disabilities.

The ideal applicant will possess excellent communication skills across all levels with a high degree of flexibility.
