Future Development

The centre as a whole has a strong strategic direction which is identified in the Longer Term Plan.

The Supporting Adult Living Service is seeking to providing a pathway for the service users living both on and off the centre, where they can grow as individuals and take more control over their lives.

We are currently piloting an assessment tool, which will review the care and support needs for every adult service user. It places the person at the centre of everything we do and allows us to listen and act upon the views of the service user.

Other initiatives for the next twelve months include focusing on a young persons transition service, increased service user involvement, supported employment and purposeful activities during the day, evening and weekends.
