Pharmacy Services

Epilepsy is a complex condition which sometimes requires treatment with multiple and complicated drug regimes. Drug treatment is usually very successful with many people experiencing a reduction in the number of seizures and some may become seizure-free.

The Pharmacy Department fulfils all the medicine requirements for the residents at the Centre, along with providing drug information for doctors, nurses and care staff. The dedicated team of Pharmacists also offer advice and training on any pharmacy-related matters such as compliance aids and formulation issues. The aim is to improve seizure control by ensuring correct and optimum administration of medicines whilst maintaining quality of life.
