Visits
We are always pleased to welcome visitors to the school.
If you are a parent and would like to visit our school please telephone Deborah Good, Head of Education on 01565 640063. She will make the necessary arrangements for your visit.
If you are a professional colleague wishing to visit, please write to the Head of Education explaining what it is you wish to see, and if possible let us have a number of possible visit dates some weeks in advance of your visit. We have an extensive multi-disciplinary staff, many of whom are on site only part of each week, so it may take time to make the arrangements that best suit you.
If you are a professional colleague visiting for Annual Review but wishing to extend your visit to take in other matters, please inform the review secretary, Liz Graham 01565 640068, giving us as much notice as possible, and letting us know what you wish to do or see.
Visits to the school normally include a meeting with the Head of Education, a tour of the school, discussions with specialist staff as required and a visit to one or more residential houses.
You should expect such a visit to last 2-3 hours, and we find that arrival times of about 10.00 to 10.30 am are most appropriate, as well as enabling you to miss the worst of the traffic on both journeys. We cannot easily accept groups of more than four people, and we would appreciate being advised when other children are to be part of your party.
We are always willing to consider occasional visits, which do not comply with our usual practice as described, and you should contact the Head of Education to discuss such visits.
