Inclusion

At david lewis we agree that children and young people should be supported to live and attend school within their home communities, so far as conditions and support allow. At david lewis our specialist education and life skills services are focused on enabling all our learners to achieve greater independence through individually tailored, specialist learning and life skills development.

As part of that focus our school is an active partner with our home authority in Cheshire. We actively develop and champion a “community of Support” and support the work of regional contracting groups.

In May 2007 the david lewis school was proud to be awarded “Inclusion Quality Mark” status which it still retains today.
