Inclusion
The school agrees that children and young people should be supported to live and attend school within their home communities, so far as conditions and support allow. The school’s position is to return children to their home community as soon as the child’s condition and conditions within the home community permit.
The school seeks to be an active partner with its home authority, Cheshire, in developing a “community of Support”. It actively supports the work of regional contracting groups.
After monitoring and inspection by an officer and seconded headteacher of our home local authority, the school was awarded “Inclusion Quality Mark” status in May 2007.
