At david lewis we have an established and successful specialist college. Based on our parkland campus we currently take up to 80 plus students with neurological difficulties. The david lewis college welcomes applications from potential residential or day students. Most of our students are funded to attend the david lewis college by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC), and potential students must meet LSC criteria. It may not be possible for many of the pupils attending the david lewis school to meet this criteria, particularly the criteria for future progress, we therefore ask parents to be aware that a pupil attending our specialist school may not automatically transfer to the david lewis speclialist college.

For those who are able to transfer, Senior staff of the david lewis school, and particularly the Head of Post-16 Education, work closely with their colleagues here at the david lewis college to begin the process of sampling college life to faciltiate a smooth transition for all potential college applicants. We also offer support and guideance to parents in making applications to our college, where this is felt to be appropriate.
