The David Lewis Centre has established a residential specialist college, The David Lewis College, on its parkland campus. The college takes up to 70 students with neurological difficulties, and welcomes applications from potential residential or day students. There is a separate section of the David Lewis Centre web-site giving information about the college.

Most students are funded to attend The David Lewis College by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC), and potential students must meet LSC criteria. It may not be possible for many of the pupils attending The David Lewis School to meet these criteria, particularly the criteria for future progress, and parents are asked not to assume that a school pupil can, or will, automatically transfer to the college.

The senior staff of the school, and particularly the Head of Post-16 Education, are in frequent informal contact with their counterparts at the college, and will begin the process of sampling college life for potential college applicants. They will guide parents in making applications to our college, where this is felt to be appropriate.
