Statement of Function and Purpose
The document below is the Statement of Purpose of The David Lewis School. This has been written to fulfill a number of purposes, but particularly to meet the requirements of the Care Standards Act, 2000. This latter aim has established the general format of this document, and also some of the terminology used within it. The purpose of this preamble is to add some further explanation to some of the terms used, and to make clear the identity of key individuals required to be named under both the Care Standards Act, 2000, and also a number of Education Acts.
