We encourage each individual to maximise his or her potential with a structured daily routine that can be tailored to meet their needs. This means deciding which activities and leisure pursuits to get involved in according to their own likes and dislikes.

8.00 – 10.00    Personal needs, medication and breakfast
10.00 – 12.00    A choice of activities with coffee break
12.00 – 13.15    Lunch
13.15 – 17.00    A choice of activities, including an afternoon nap
17.00 – 18.00    Evening meal and medication
18.00 – Bedtime    Evening activities
Bedtime    Personal needs, medication and decide when you’d like to go to sleep
 
Our range of activities includes arts, crafts, music and games at the Drop in Club and life skills such as cookery, woodwork and horticulture at Day Services. We also organise trips into the local community to visit restaurants, pubs, bowling alleys, cinemas, shops and local tourist attractions. In the evenings we provide embroidery, art and theatre workshops as well as church services open to every denomination. Music therapy, cookery and art are provided during the evenings and weekends.

The David Lewis Centre has a Charter of Service User / Resident Involvement, which commits to "placing the resident at the centre of everything that we do".
