Leisure

At david lewis we provide a range of activities and leisure pursuits which patients can get involved in according to their likes and dislikes. Trips can include every day tasks such as shopping for clothes and personal belongings to a visit to the hairdressers or barbers. We also take the time to visit local beauty spots, utilise on site an local leisure facilities, eat out at restaurants, go to theatres and sporting events. All providing as much variety as we can for our patients during their time with us, no matter how short or long.

Hobbies are always encouraged and where practical we arrange visits to local clubs in order for our patients to pursue their chosen activity. For patients on longer term assessment we also arrange holidays so that our patients may experience and enjoy life in the wider community including access to two especially equipped caravans, owned and maintained by david lewis sited in the lovely holiday town of Porthmadog.

We encourage and actively supports close links with families, friends, and carers. Staff are always on hand to facilitates home visits for our patients.
