Leisure

We have a range of activities and leisure pursuits which patents can get involved in according to their likes and dislikes. Our trips include shopping for clothes and personal belongings as well as trips to the hairdressers. We also visit local beauty spots, leisure facilities, restaurants, theatres and sporting events.

Hobbies are always encouraged and where practical we arrange visits to local clubs in order for our patients to pursue their chosen activity. We also arrange holidays so that patients may experience and enjoy life in the wider community.

The Centre has recently purchased two fully equipped disabled caravans in Porthmadog.
The unit encourages and actively supports close links with families, friends, and carers. The staff facilitates home visits for our patients.
