External Referrals

Day Services welcomes external referrals, although we do make a minimal charge which presently starts at £8.00 per session.   This includes full staff support through person-centred planning.   Sessions take place from 9.00am to 12.00 pm and 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm with refreshments provided.   Our timetable of activities, educational programmes and work experience placements is wide and varied and we aim to tailor each one to meet the needs and interests of each individual.

External referrals are always made through a social worker or care manager direct to Darren Brodrick at Day Services (see Contact Us).  The team will then discuss the referral and arrange a home visit for assessment.

Individuals who are offered a place are encouraged to attend on a gradual basis and only when we are happy that we can genuinely meet an individual’s needs will we accept a permanent referral.
