"Drummers raise £3500 for minibus appeal"

On Saturday 15 March 2008, ten young drummers accompanied by their teacher Jason Fletcher, embarked on a drumming challenge – to keep the beat for five hours.
Stretton Church Hall was the venue, just outside of
Even a gorilla turned up! He muscled in on the act, going round tapping cymbals and snare drums and generally getting into the ‘swing’ of things! (inside the costume was Jason Fletcher)
The event generated over £3,500.00 for The David Lewis Centre and the feedback from those participating, parents and supporters has been overwhelming in support of the combined efforts of all involved.
The event was a huge success and there are already plans for a repeat challenge in 2009.
A huge thank you to Dawn Fletcher, who organised this whole event and has set herself a target to raise £10,000 for our Minibus Campaign.
Dawn from Aspect Binders and Print, has been looking after our printing requirements for some time now and was inspired to help us when we launched our Minibus Campaign.
