Policy for the Recruitment of Ex-Offenders
The David Lewis Centre has a policy for the recruitment of ex-offenders as is a requirement as part of our Code of Practice as a registered body with the Criminal Records Bureau, an agency of the Home Office.
The Centre will consider ex-offenders for employment on their individual skills, qualifications and competencies. The Centre's approach towards employing ex-offenders differs, however, depending on whether the job is or is not exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
