Achievements

At david lewis College we set great store in recognising and acknowledging the achievements of our students. The annual 'Celebration of Achievement' day at the end of the academic year is a memorable one in our College calendar and a delight to share with family and friends.

Each student has a portfolio of achievements which is based on the RARPA system (Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement). Evidence is collected to how students’ goals have been achieved – by photo evidence and/or written work. The annual review and report also focus on, and highlight, achievement.

Whenever appropriate, our students work towards gaining qualifications and living in supported accommodation. Many attend external colleges or choose to move to our 'Footsteps' programm to continue their education and work towards further qualifications. For some of our students attendance at david lewis College has resulted in them successfully taking up employment in office and administration, sport and leisure, retail and horticulture.
