Learn
As a new employee you will attend a comprehensive induction training programme, designed to provide you with the necessary knowledge, skills and understanding to succeed in your role. You will also have the chance to observe and practice skills and have a mentor to provide guidance along the way. Following induction, we will provide you with regular training and refresher training days to make sure your skills are up-to-date. We also offer opportunities to develop further through our Career Paths.
Progress
We are committed to achieving high levels of organisational performance and will support you effectively through regular supervision (one-to-one sessions). In addition you will have an annual Performance Development Review to identify ways to continuously improve in your role.
We also encourage people to work towards vocational and other professional qualifications, such as Health and Social Care Diplomas (Level 2 & 3) and a range of college and training programmes. Investment in People is something that we are committed to, we have a sponsorship programme in place to promote development and assist with the cost of learning.
